Annd there's a show on Gautama Buddha also coming up on Zee..eager to watch that..and remember about that Sher Dil Shergill show? I made a rant in this CC about no creative freedom and blah blah...guess what?..I am hooked to the revamped version of the show now.😆 Such a beautiful show!

The thing is we had Ramayana in class 7 and Mahabharata in class 8 as part of our hindi syllabus..I can not forget the horror of studying two granthas for 20 marks! add to that the questions were always in the end and my hands would be shaking due to lack of time...bad memories kutrea!!!

I like the bhabhi show too..except there's too much sadness right now! I'm sure it's going to get better!

I don't like the actress playing the bhabhi though..her teeth are weird..SP likes actors with weird jaws!

I really like that Meri Bhabhi show too...the cast is great, the story seems good and thankfully, it's not dragging.

oh..and I really like Vipul Shah(the bhai in the bhabhi show)! I used to be a huge fan of VS and Manasi Parekh! They've done 2 shows together😳

Oh thanks :) is he a good actor? I was afraid it might be that Navya guy playing Krishna! :p

I remember doing Ramayan in school, except we did it in class 6 not 7. We had a test and there was a question asking who wrote Ramayan. I could not remember for the life of me who it was and wrote "Ramanand Sagar" as my answer. 😆 like seriously, who does that?! That was also my last hindi test ever, I remember my mom telling me a week after that that we're moving from India forever and I was SO glad I won't have to study Hindi anymore 😆

He comes in Mahadev..but I've never seen that show!

oh..then Mahabharata would be class 7..they were in consecutive years!

I know..studying hindi was a pain in the ass..we used to have these 'bhavartha' of poems and all! But I really respect people who know it well..like I am not fond of AB Sr or Smriti Irani but I love it when they talk!

Yes, yes and yes! I really respect people who know it well too! Even though I don't get half the stuff they say when they talk in shudh Hindi, it still awes me, it sounds beautiful.

Oh and I like VS too! 😳 he was in India calling with Manasi, which was the second show? Manasi is an amazing actress too, I really like her!

You should read the Mahabharata if you have a chance. It has some of the most interesting characters and engaging plotlines. Don't view it as mythology or a religious study. Read it as an epic fantasy fiction novel and it is incredible! The war is only towards the ending. Majority of the story is just politics/drama and interactions. There is a post war period too in the complete Mahabharata.
