the fault for the replacement lies with kareena and "The Babita". kareena was just spoiled at 17 and hella bitchy. she was a kapoor and was karishmas sisterr who was successful at that time so she her word had some weight.

and anyway...i think Amishas parents may have beat her a bit too hard with those chappals because shes just getting stupider and stupider.

I don't think there's anything wrong in what she said. Had Deepika or PC or Kats or Kareena spoke abt it, our reactions would have different reactions on how injustice had been done.

I also feel she doesn't need to cover it up and be diplomatic about it. Maybe she did lose a few projects bcoz of politics and it does happen and that's the truth.

I am glad she came out with it and didn't go the diplomatic way.

Thank you so much for opening this topic, MrsMalhotra. Yaadein has a lot of yaadein for me. This is was the VERY LAST movie I watched in the theaters prior to making my move to the US for my education. I remember the day very well - On a boring, unproductive Thursday evening, my friend and I decided to go watch a movie and unwind from all the stress related to shopping and what not! Turns out that half of the theater was unoccupied; there were barely any people in the various corridors of the cinema hall! Man, it was just too damn dead!

The movie was such a disaster. I'd literally started growing impatient and bored out of my mind watching the entire claptrap that was being shown on screen. Hrithik's immature acting, Kareena's overacting, Amrish's unwarranted and fake-ish aggressiveness and much more – everything had become just too hard to digest! And on top of that, the supporting cast sucked donkey balls! Actors like Rashmi Rathod and the Marathi lady (who played HR's mom) were just out of proportion. The movie, for me, was a total wreck of a cinematic experience! I remember returning home with a long, tired face and a testy, snarky disposition! I handed over the rest of the money to my dad and just hit the bed with my face buried down in my pillow. Guess what, folks! I was that annoyed by that horrendous, despicable drama of a movie!

However, years later, on a fine yet lazy afternoon, I had an opportunity to watch the movie on TV - AGAIN! Why, you ask? It's because it was coming on TV and I was way too lazy to flip through the channels. The hot, summery afternoons made the active human in me go dead on my own self in no time! I was worse than a giant turtle struggling to grab and chew on a forgivably meager leaf of cabbage floating and wandering aimlessly. But guess what! I watched the entire movie; I felt good about it! 😕 The entire claptrap had now turned into an unforgettable cinematic experience! Can you even believe that! 😆

Anyway, I just want to add that it worked in favor of Amisha to have her kicked out of the project. Just as someone aptly said above, you never know, her career might have ended ages ago! Thanks for listening to my silly saga of laziness, apprehension, and everything else in between!

ok im jus wondering if this is tru, becos I recall at the time tht she was offered MPKDH and Yaadein but had rejected both...and also rejected chameli and all 3 films went to kareena...many at the time were gutted she rejected MPKDH and Yaadein becos fans lost out on seeing duggu-amisha pair which was a big hit after KNPH...
