I think the movie should work, it has a certain old charm which has been missing in movies for quite some time. I believe people want to see a simple, romantic, family movie after all these masala films. The promos are interesting. Dhanush has star power to pull in the south Indian crowds as well.

This film could turn out to be memorable, IF it has a relatable story and a logical culmination. And I am not sure about that at all!
