Mohit loses a film

Sources say that Mohit Raina, aka Mahadev lost out on the chance to do a film with Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham. "Farah Khan wanted to cast him in her upcoming film Happy New Year but he is under contract with the serial makers, which is why he could not take it up," informs the source. Mohit has been soaring the popularity charts as Mahadev of Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. He recently played a double role, that of Mahadev and his lookalike Jalandhar.

It's good he didn't leave the show for just a film as many actors would or actually do. HNY won't really do anything for him as such as staying on Mahadev would. Wise decision Mohit.
