the role was for actress but Katrina ko toh acting karna mana hain... Anushka was fine though...

Deepika could have been offered katrina's role too

more than katrina, the film needed a better story.

but i don't understand what's the fuss about. i mean if people don't have any problem with her pairing with akshay kumar or salman. what's that with shahurkh. katrina is not an actress material. she is a heroine who does her job by dancing and standing besides the hero through the movie and make it successful. people love her. she is at the top despite everything. she has beaten her seniors like kareena and priyanka from a good margin. everyone wants to work with her. so it is not possible that she won't be casted with srk. the film sucked becoz the story sucked. i was more devastated with the story. i could atleast tolerate katrina but the story is so poor that it nearly killed everything. seriously what was yasjraj ppl thinking.

For the answer to ur question...please go and read the Ghagra thread...where Madhuri has been called...old, fat, dadi, nani, aunty and all sorts of beautiful names...and then u will know why the producers go after the younger actresses and not the wonderfully talented actresses that u have mentioned...People prefer Alia over Madhuri...WE THE AUDIENCE WILL REJECT THE OLDER ACTRESSES OURSELVES...the proof is in the pudding...go and see how much appreciation Madhuri for ghagra...or how Preity is beaten up for her looks...

The fact is BW audience goes after looks...no one cares for talent and so the producers go for younger actresses...after all no one wants to risk crores and crores of rupees...

And lastly ...why question only SRK...everyone is being paired against 20 somethings...why just crucify him??
