@chatpati900: I agree with you. She's not comfortable in her own skin (no matter how much she emphasizes that she's confident in how she looks or her body figure, she clearly isn't). Hence she keeps wearing monochrome colors and such hideous tents. Weight gain doesn't suit her, and neither do these abominable fashion choices yet she doesn't seem to want to make a change in herself.

But as far as the weight gain goes, of course she doesn't have to lose the weight if she doesn't want to. That's completely her prerogative and I don't believe I said anywhere that she needs to lose the weight. She doesn't NEED to do anything she doesn't want to. However, that also doesn't mean that I have to still think she's gorgeous when chubby. I simply don't find her attractive and I don't think she can pull off weight-gain well and that was purely a personal opinion, not an attack.

Also, I might be wrong but I was always under the impression that Aish attended Cannes as a brand ambassador for L'oreal, not to represent India. I don't really see her doing much to put India on an international platform or doing any great movies that portray Indian cinema in a better light in international festivals. So, I'm sorry but I don't really see how she's representing "Bollywood" or "India" in any tangible way at Cannes.

and to mnmj, it's not that I find her "stiff"/pretentious since last year only - I find her stiff/pretentious all along. I find Nandita( or even Sonam, Vidya... ) more beautiful than Aish...and very pleasant to my eyes... thats my pov, you don't have to correct it / justify it/call names for that pov, Just like how I don't run after you for saying Aish looks beautiful since your pov doesn't match with mine.

Wow love the whole look. Maybe because I'm shocked. Don't think we would ever see Aishwarya like this, love her makeup her lipstick is awesome. Goes with the drss. Much better dress than yesterday. Love the hair too. Aishwarya is coming back to her self slowly.

Thank god for Armani!! I love this color and finally she wears color...suits her eyes. I wanted her to do an updo, but not really this one. On the whole the look is not that bad at all. But her close-ips look very nice. I think she was born to stun. Weight-wise it is what it is...I'm glad she's doing the best that she can. And I think she does have confidence b/c she showed those arms and wore a one-strap when she knows how huge her arms are. Good for her for being comfy in her skin...I guess that proves that criticism against her.

BTW: I love this one...it's all the eyes baby!

her fats are hanging from the sides on top. theyre literally hanging off the dress. and her boobs are squashed. i woukdnt be surprised if she cant breath...,what a total disaster

well...she is on the path of losing weight...shes not gonna come and announce i hate being fat.
