Aamir's horrible...err 'quirky' dressing sense

Aamir Khan's style has always been a kind of quirky. We say a kind, because its incomplete. If style is a state of mind, Aamir's statement seems to reflect his two states ' Aamir the creative force and Aamir the strategist.

Notice how his legs are always ready to party, but his torso is always heading to business. Coloured pants have been a penchant for Aamir since the early days.

Even though they stunt a person's height, and genetics have not been very generous to Aamir in that area, he wears them everywhere the dress code requires him to be casual.

Most times, he ends his loose pants with combat boots and white, plain grey or white tees. Coloured pants, even jeans, were hot in the '90s, and one of the good things about a personal style is that you will be wearing it when the trend boomerangs.

That's what is happening to Aamir right now. Here's hoping he sticks to jeans and doesn't extend his colourful personality to trousers.

' Sorry Aamir. We take it back. You don't always wear plain tees. Sometimes you borrow Puss's boots and then we don't notice what else you are wearing.
' It's not the colour but the the fake fade that we dislike. Denims have to earn their wash and fray (32 tumbles in the washing machine?)
' We like these yellow pants, and the dark blue quilted jacket. Here the tee is a nice peace-maker, though the boots look orthopaedic.
' Between the black tee and the black boots, the orange pants are too sandwiched. A light blue tee and sandals would relax the outfit a bit
