Dilip Kumar - Boring! Yay or Nay?

I understand why a lot of people put this guy on a pedestal especially the young'ins here. I know you guys watched the movies with your parents as a kids, and probably didn't know any better then. Now that attachment is purely because of the good times you had watching his films with your parents.

I am just glad, I wasn't into old old hindi films then otherwise I would have met with the same fate as y'all. I did watch Saudagar, he was good, but nothing path-breaking. 😆 I watched Devdas a few years ago, and boy is that snoozefest, this guy is so OTT, SRK had got to be a like a 100x better than him.

kahan srk and kahan dilip kumar

i like dillip in devdas

both are good but i cant say if SRK is better than Dillip Kumar

both are legends to me 😊

so na he not boring

Well for me personally I haven't been much exposed to his films. I don't know him too well as an actor since I haven't seen many of his films.

But from what I've seen & heard he is def a legend. He has given some outstanding performances. Of course just like every other actor, he hasn't been perfect and had his ups and downs in his career. But during his fame time, he was one of the better actors.

To compare Shahrukh to Dilip ji is unfair as there is a huge generation gap between the two. What Shahrukh excels at, Dilip ji probably wouldn't and vise versa. Both are great actors in their own respected way.

I do have my biasness towards Shahrukh though since I've grown up watching ALL of his films.

I watched his film Ram Aur Shayam.. what a pathetic excuse for a film. It was stupidly funny. Kumar overacted so much, it had me pulling my hair out. Duplicate and Judwaa are like Oscar worthy compared to that garbage.

Srk's version shits in its pants compared to Dilip's Version.😛 forget Dilip, Even DEV D was better than that crap.😆 If Dilip kumar hams according to some people. then SRK was in a different league in hamming in Devdas.😆

i want to become the first martryr carrying the light that SRK VERSION of DEVDAS sucked so badly ! gladly the oscar nominees threw it in the dustbin in the first round, when it was sent there🤣

I hate Devdas. 😆😆😆😆😆 SRK's version was BAD but compared to Dilip's, it's golden.
