Minissha goes missing!

Ever heard of an actress going missing in a remote corner of an island? That's what the crewmembers of Anthony Kaun Hai?

Thought, when Minissha Lamba went missing on the first day of her outdoor shoot at Krabi, Thailand. The producers even launched a hunt for Lamba. But it was only after a good three hours that she popped her head out of a nearby shack!

Shacked up

It was clearly not a case of lost in the woods, but "lost in the open-air massage parlours", as Lamba explains, saying she was lured in to take massages at the local shacks.

She adds, "I didn't expect my producer, Nikhil Panchamiya, to get a panic attack. Since I didn't have any scenes to do, I was pampering myself with some exotic massages at the beach shacks. I didn't overlook my work for personal pleasures. Why should I be pulled up for that?"

However, the exasperated producers and crewmembers were concerned and feared that the actress might have either been swept away in the sea or lost her way. Few people know that the Delhi girl is a trained swimmer. "I'm a good swimmer and drowning is the last thing that can happen," she says.

Chaperoned!

After being found she took an hour to reassure her unit that she wouldn't get lost. "Yes, I had to reassure my producer before taking on my next quest. I'm an independent woman and I can take care of myself. You cannot expect me to sit in one corner when I'm visiting a new place."

But ever since her vanishing act, she had a sentinel in tow to ensure her safety. "My producer actually sent a crewmember behind me to keep a track of my whereabouts. But I didn't mind that because they were genuinely concerned about my safety."
