Because she had apparently married Sanjay Khan and pestered him to publicly declare it. His first wife was obviously against it.

Sanjay Khan and Zarine were already married. On some film shooting, Sanjay and Zeenat fell in love. Zarine found out and naturally got angry (I don't blame her). However, at this party attended by all three, verbal argument broke out between Sanjay and Zeenat. Sanjay started beating Zeenat up, Zarine joined in and beat her up too. 🤢 Her face was brutalized and that eye permanently damaged.

Zeenat Aman had affairs/was used by many married men. Dev Anand, Raj Kapoor, Sanjay Khan. Even Mazhar Khan left his wife to marry Zeenat.

How horribly pathetic!!! 🤢 Like you said, she's right in getting angry but woman, beat up your husband. Did she even question him!!! He's the married man here. But oh ofcourse, it's Bollywood. Bollywood wives are supposed to show that their world is epitome of perfection *-* How can you hit someone man that too so violently??? Such a disgusting feeling I'm getting here. And even more shameful are those ppl who just kept standing there. Losers.
