The best devdas belongs to K.L. Saigal. its the most classical form of Devdas. Dilip kumar's also amazing. SRK's Devdas doesn't even come close. that's why it was thrown out of oscar nominations in the first round. when people themselves don't do such melodrama in real life. how would they take up onscreen LOL. the film worked becoz of srk's star power that's it.
