I think she had two different forms? Daayan in Huma's form got Emraan to take Pishaj form and kill Huma; and when he thought he won the battle and let go of his Pishaj form, Konkona was all, "Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost," and surprised the shit outta him. And now that he had taken the Pishaj form and killed someone, he wasn't "innocent" anymore which is the requirement of killing the Daayan. So I guess the Daayan tricked him with her two forms? 😆

I am not sure if the movie makes sense because the ending was just weird. I just laughed tbh.

exactly ! Ekta ruined the essence of the whole movie with the weird ending 😡 i too think they are the same cos if diana cant be killed by bobo that tampara cant be either !

I was actually hoping for a nice scientific-psychological kinda ending. The ending was kinda confusing for me because I don't know much about daayan folklores. Like say it's all part of his imagination and none of the shit happened but the movie ends with something scary... Idk something like a cliffhanger, where the viewer decides if Daayans exist or not. :(

People said Kalki's character was confusing.. but isn't it kinda obvious that the Daayan just used her as a "distraction" 😕 .. Daayan /Tamara/Diana let Bobo think Lisa is the Daayan when she's innocent and it was all in the Devil's plan and all that. More than Lisa, the ending was confusing. 😡

Kalki's character was the most useless 🥱 I expected the ending to be more scary and realistic but it ended up being the same OTT action from masala movies 😵

Kalki literally had nothing to do. She was hardly there. Don't understand why they needed her for this role.. they could have gotten anyone. Her talent went to waste. -_-

Horror movies should have good, scary endings that haunts the viewers! The climax was HORRIBLE. Bad effects, bad situation.. they could have made it so much better! I just liked the first half.

like i said it started as a vishal movie but ended as a vikram bhatt movie😆 i am sure the movie had a better ending but ekta changed everything !

what a terrible terrible movie man.. GRRR.. I was like why did I come to watch this..The only good thing about the movie was Yaaram.. the kid who played young Emraan and his sister.. the kid who played the sister was adorable.. Emraan didn't have to do this.. this was like the show they used to have on Sony Aaahat or like zee horror show.. nonsense 1/5 the 1's only for the kids and the song..

Ek Thi Daayan

Ek thi Daayan which dropped yesterday, on Saturday showed growth on Sunday. According to early estimates the film has done business of 7-7.25 cr on Sunday. The film showed growth both in multiplexes and single screens yesterday but its still limited growth as the opening was average.

The film has collected around 17.50-17.75 cr in its opening weekend,(Friday 5.50 cr , Saturday 5 cr, Sunday 7-7.25 cr), its a below par weekend for an Emraan Hashmi starrer. The film has to hold on well in weekdays to come up with a decent week total.

The movie starts out with lame-ass magic show.I mean seriously who goes to magic shows?😆 Yeah maybe in Vegas if its free.

So BoBo (🤣 🤣 <~~ Yup thats me every time his name is said in the movie.I just imagined that character barking. His name was perfectly good name Bijoy but instead we see everyone calling him Bowbow!) is busy conning ppl in his magic show and even burns his assistant. Like serious burn but Huma is like chota mota burn. They show the assistant's whole body burnt,but they are so calm.OK next show we will get some other woman and burn her instead. Next!

After few forgettable minutes, comes the star attraction of the movie. ⭐️ 👏 Both the child actors were fantastic,especially the boy. The story unfolds how their father gets married to their nanny, and how the kid Emraan suspects that his step mom is a witch/Dayaan. Fabulous acting by Konkona. And the scene where she kills her husband and daughter is quiet terrifying. This is the only good part of this movie ie when Emraan is under hypnosis.

Spoiler alert.(Highlight to read)

So after some boring part of movie involving Kalki , he comes to know that he is married to dayan and he himself is a reincarnated demon.🤣 So when his wife is about to kill his adopted son,he assumes a power ranger pose and turns demonic to slay the witches. 🤣 Only to be told by Konkona that they will be back again.

There were 10 ppl ,including me, in the whole theatre and we all came out of the theatre laughing. Yes the ending was so comedic.

The flow of the movie is spoiled by idiotic songs in the middle. I don't think songs go well with this genre.

Performance wise: The child actors were really good. Konkona was exceptional. Emraan and Huma were meh. Kalki is wasted and I realized she has a very horsey face.

Waste of money to see it in theatre.
