@Brooks: I agree! Plus, Deepika and Sona look like they can play period-piece characters, but Katrina wouldn't fit the role plus let's not forget the acting needed. It's a movie all about performances and SLB needs 3 strong actors: I would go with Yami, Mahi Gill, and Aditya/Abhay/SRK for the Bajirao.

@ Moco (nice name btw!) : I think he wants hits, after all his flops the past few years, which is why he's turning to Deepika and all. Maybe he can cast someone like Ranbir or Ranveer as the male lead, that way he doesn't have to worry about how famous the females are.

I would also love to see more of Ileana D'Cruz. She has great screen presence too

Truth be told, it's very hard to believe that after waiting 15 years on his dream project, Bhansali will take the project forward with...the worst actress in Bollywood.

I just can't imagine them both putting up with each other. SLB is a perfectionist and knowing him + his temper, he would for sure reduce Kat to tears and fire her by the end of day 1 of shooting. 😆

@Brooks: awww! thanks! I was trying to be discret but everyone figured it out!😆 Ileana is actually very pretty and would suit the role too. Plus, I rmember years ago SLB casted a newcomer (Aishu) and pretty much took her to new heights...she's basically the Aishwarya Rai b/c of Hum Dil and what he did to her to transform her into Nandini...she def learned a lot an it would be an awesome break for Ileana too. I was gonna add Diana, but then I'm like no...she's gorgeous and innocent but she doesn't have the same screen presence as Ileana, Yami or Mahi.
