Seems like Taran had a chat with ppl in YRF.. he posted the release date of YRF with sushant and parineeti.. n now this..

But Y .. Adi "apparently told Rani to do AIIYAA and then more giver her bolder role in his production..wat is this?

But finally Pradeep Sarkar. after so long.. he couldnt direct ISHAQZAADE ..but is back ..loved his Parineeta.. 👏 hope a more mature actor.. but they all seem so buzy

Ya, it is taken from same word, just to show as a women can act like men strongly in this world.

Mardaana word is used to show masculinity, power among men. A female perspective added with changing it to Mardaani.
