Varun is an actor of the youth: David Dhawan

Varun Dhawan's one film old but the actor is raring to go. And a film with his father has to be in the pipeline.

After the release of Dhawan's latest, Chashme Baddoor, he's gearing up for his next directorial Mein Tera Hero that is being produced by Balaji Telefilms. This film is also a remake of a South film. Talking about directing his son for this film, David says, "Varun has done one film so far but I know he's going to be very busy. So I told him to remove some time for me because I definitely wanted to work with him".

Speaking about his son's future in the industry, David adds, "Varun will have to prove himself in Bollywood. While my son Rohit is a director, Varun's an actor of the youth and I believe it's the next generation that will take films forward".
