Look, there are stars who are happy to conform to just one genre. And then, there are actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and some others, who are happy to mix their cinema. At 70, the ageless Amitji does a Bbuddha Hoga Tera Baap and a Paa with equal ease. Likewise, I'm game with balancing my choice of cinema. It's the media who has an issue with a certain genre. They have pre-decided, this is mindless... or this is purist. As far as I'm concerned, I give my best to whatever I take on. The Son Of Sardaars and Himmatwalas are Bollywood's answer to a Superman. Choco, the pic you saw was from the mehndi that was held at Kajol's house a day or two before the wedding. He was invited to that but not the actual wedding, which was really small with only like 50 people. But the Bachchans were invited to that and maybe others too, I don't know.

I dunno, I think if Kajol didn't invite SRK to her wedding it would have made news. I know Rani was not invited. Kajol has very few friends in the industry and SRK always seemed like one of them. Yeah she never attends all those parties at Mannat but then she's never been that social. Prefers to sleep early too. SRK was making fun of her for that once..saying Kajol is the only person on the planet who goes to bed early on New Years' Eve. 😆

They weren't best friends even before the wedding but I think after Ajay came into the picture, they grew apart even more. Ajay never liked SRK and it's natural and normal to move away from people your spouse doesn't like.

Oh okay. The Bachchans are very close the Devgns, I think Ajay's dad especially.. Kajol-Ajay were one of the very few invited to Abhi-Ash's wedding also.

From whatever I've understood is that they don't hang out every month and call each up every 2 days or anything, but when they meet they're very friendly. I dunno, I don't think you can fake that kind of camaraderie, especially Kajol. 😆 It is normal & natural to do that, but Kajol & Ajay always said that they're good at not interfering in each other's friend circles..she has her friends and he has his. 😕

It did make news, Choco. He wasn't invited to the actual wedding ceremony but it was no big deal honestly. They had a really small wedding with only 50 people. Ajay probably didn't want him there as well. He always had a stick up his butt regarding SRK. She invited him to the solo events at her house where Ajay wouldn't be there, lol
