Not sure what SRK has to do about editing? Maybe he put in a special request to the FF team not to edit out Annu's speech. Kinda nice of him to do that. If Annu credits SRK for it then I believe it as they are not special friends or anything.

I quite a few times read in BB forum that Shakti Kapoor was evicted to please Salman in the previous season as Shakti and Sallu don't share a good rapport. Also how Mahek was supported by sallu as she is his "friend" . If an award show and its results could be influenced by the hosts why not reality show? How is it different? 😕

Yeah, Aish, I said that Koiza should put her blind hatred aside for a while and think logically. I don't give two hoots if it's the most used line on the forum- if some people like that exist here then it will be used and used again. A big issue was being made out of nothing and it looked like that to me so I said it. My apologies that it riled that person up so much but I don't think I was wrong in saying it.

Of course SRK is more influential than Anu Kapoor ..heck probably more influential than half of Bollywood. It's sort like me trying to get a job at a place and then asking one of my friends who's been employed there for ages and has a cordial relationship with the manager, to help me get that job. Everyone tries getting help from the more influential folks to get what they want. I see this as no different. SRK has his own standing in bollywood..you've got to be in denial if you think SRK asking for something is the same as Anu Kapoor asking for something. SRK definitely has more power and contacts..while we can think of a million other stories here, lets try thinking of this one too, perhaps?

Salman Khan has helped so many people with their careers in bollywood. Now, lets start counting how many not so deserving people actually have a job in bollywood due to this guy...starting with the girl in your avatar maybe? 😆..or better yet, lets just think of all the not so deserving star kids in Bollywood..while other deserving people have to go through auditions and whatnot only to get rejected. So, SRK can use his star power to buy awards..but how can he even think of using his star power to help someone out? ..right. 😆

OMG Koiza...why are u so angry girl...see if there is a difference between reality shows and award shows...don't u think there is a difference between asking the jury of the FF awards for a favor vs. asking the EDITING team for a favor...

Annu Kapoor is a veteran actor of BW...earlier in some award ceremony they had edited his speech and so he may have mentioned to to SRK that and SRK must have told him that he would ask the EDITING team for a favor...How in the world does that equate to SRK having an influence on the award system...Anu just showed his gratitude...Annu is a very respected member of BW...anyone in SRK's place would have done it...It was a little thing...not a big deal...

I remember reading how Salman Khan has the final say in the editing of movies that he stars in. 😆 To the extent that some directors get pissed off by that..for example: Kabir Khan with Ek Tha Tiger. I guess some directors give in while others don't as they have their own vision with their movies..and in the end, you should be following what the director wants and not what you want personally anyway. Needless to say you may be the star of your movie, but there's a combined effort from everyone's part as well.

Point is star power/status does wonders. I don't see how one superstar using his power is any different than another superstar doing the same.

Exactly...Salman kare to wah wah...kitna khayal rakhta hai...how he helps...and here Shahrukh does something to help a member of BW...and he is wrong??
