i don't think so, it's probably one movie even his detractors like and would agree, he was good in. ready doesn't stand a chance against CDI. just like neutrals would vote for aamir in a poll of best actor amongst 3 khans .. same way srk will dodge those votes cuz of CDI😆

Wasn't that the point? You weren't meant to sympathize with his character (or him, though where does sympathizing with him in the movie come from is beyond me 😕). His character was meant to be annoying and irritating, not someone who needed to be sympathized with and I think srk did a grand job at it. His performance was actually great, and I am not saying this as a fan but as a viewer. 😳

A concept does not make a film. Besides being high on sex or adultery does not automatically make a thing realistic.

Anyway - that got to be Kajol in MNIK or Rani in Black, not because they were terrible, because they had their good moments..but because these two performances are praised to the skies for no good reasons IMO.
