I mentioned in random post in another thread that I've been showing a couple of my desi friends, who werent into bollywood at all, some Indian movies.
They recently got into it thanks to dances at a wedding and I forced em to watch Jab We Met, and they were hooked.

I need suggestions for entertaining and least cringeworthy films to show slightly white washed ABCDs in their early 20s.

So far the films I've shown em are:
JWM
Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na
3 Idiots
Dil Chahta Hai
Lagaan
Kal Ho Na Ho
Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu
K3G
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
DDLJ

They loved ALL of em, EXCEPT -

SHOCK

DDLJ.

Yes I'm still in denial how that was possible considering they could handle the melodrama in KKHH and K3G. 🤓

So now I dont know where to go from here.

I'm thinking of Cocktail coz they love the songs, and it is a rather entertaining film.
What else?

Avoid TDP, they're slightly on the conservative side, some of em.
They've seen Don and liked it.
One of em saw ZNMD and liked it as well.
Seen DCH.
They might get offended by Kurbaan.
They'll tear RNBJ apart for the sheer stupidity that one mustache apparently conceals a man's identity.
Aisha...umm...I heard people didnt like it much yeah?
Fashion also is darker stuff like Heroine, TDP
OSO they would probably not get half the references in the first half.

But I like from your suggestions
BBB, Aamir, Ghajini, Barfi, EV, and Vicky Donor

Thanks! 😊
