Rajeev has very well Survived for 4 years , big deal for a TV actor ...Ayushman will also survive , if not in main lead then in the roles like Sharman joshi ... let's see how Sushant does

He picks interesting subjects. Rajeev doesn't suit mainstream commercial Bollywood and I don't think he has ever been interested in that either. He seems very much into scripts and roles, not big names at all. Otherwise, he would never have left KTH at its peak just because he didn't like the way the story was headed and pissed off Ekta Kapoor like he did.

Ayushman and Sushant seem more interested in commercial Bollywood than Rajeev ever was, hence the "bigger" offers I suppose. Plus, they're better at PR, or have a better PR team. In today's Bollywood world, PR is very important. You have to let people know how you're doing...It's how the industry takes notice, how the audience takes notice also.

It's sad that the article does not look at any female actors though. SRK, Madhavan and Irrfan are mentioned but there's no sign of Vidya. They talked about soap actors from recent times who've made it, who haven't and who might be "in the offing" but not a single sentence on any actress. Surely there have been a few who tried. If Amar Upadhyay's failure deserves a mention what about the failures of actresses?

Speaking of actresses, what about Surveen Chawla? I see her doing non-Hindi movies. Saw her in a couple of Punjabi films and she's in other languages too. How is she doing? Good or bad?

yes he didn't make it big bcz he works only in quality cinema , and big budget ppl don't cast him ... he is still doing solo hero movies which has good script ( the kind of cinema he likes ) so i wld call it surviving ... otherwise there r so many TV actors who find it hard to do even a small budget movie and make it hit

yes he does small budget movies and Rajeev can carry those on his shoulder very well

Let them survive in this cut throat industry for 5 years and then we will say they made it...Rajiv has been here for may be 3-4 years now...and he is still doing those c-grade movies...Sushant's first movie has just released...and Aaushman is going to release the 2nd one now...

There are so many examples of actors who do 1 or 2 movies and are then gone...so lets wait for some more time...

I think Rajeev should go in for Negative roles in big films...While he does the small budget lead roles...
He has 0 PR...Its a miracle hez still around without any buzz...

Hez been unlucky,...He'd signed a Bhansali film...Chenab Gandhi as the parallel lead with Amitabh Bachan and was paired opp. Vidya Balan...but Bhansali fought with the writer and scrapped the film..SLB made them wait almost a year...UGHHH...

Also he refused to play one of the hubbies of Piggy in 7 khoon maaf...He shudve taken that up...Madhur was pretty impressed with his acting in Aamir...

I wish sumone casts him in a good...big budget flick...If they had promoted Aamir as much as Table 21...he wudve atleast been nominated for new commer awards...SAD !! :((

I love his work...Been following him on and off since KTH...Loved Aamir...!
