He took a break from directing and has been working with Mira Nair as editor (which is what he was he was before becoming a director). He has worked on The Reluctant Fundamentalist (mainly as editor and also as second unit director if I'm not wrong). He also edited Nair's segment in Words with Gods which will release this year I believe. I also read somewhere that he has plans on becoming a film producer and might be working on something.

i don't know how habib faisal turned out a rug like Ishqzaade. i had more expectations from him becoz he made 'Do dooni chaar'

Nupur Asthana was also director of Hip Hip Hurray(Zee Tv) , She is a Fabulous Director

Sorry for including Habib Faisal and Sanjay Gadhvi(they made their debuts outside YRF)and not including Nupur😭. Also, didn't include Jugal Hansraj--but he made forgetful movies🥱

Shimit Amin is hands down the most promising director from the whole YRF stable, but he wasn't launched by them. Habib Faisal is very good, but Do Dooni Chaar wasn't a YRF project either. Kabir Khan is WAY overrated. Only Kabul Express was decent from his films.

So from this list, I'd say it's Maneesh Sharma. BBB was great and LVRB was decent time pass.

Nupur Asthana is also good.

Rishab Seth was amazing as the director/writer of Rishta.com...I wish they would offer him a film or something =/
