RTH: Really? Kristen Stewart Acts? Okay I've not seen any other movie of hers except Twilight so there's no point in contradicting with you unless I see it :) I've surely watch the movies you recommended. Hope Kristen changes my POV against her =D & BTW Yeah. Bella Swan does have to be the most irritating character ever. She is really poorly sketched & a highly flawed character. That too makes me dislike Kristen even more :\

She is better than Robert and Taylor for sure...at least in On the Road

It's just really hard to like her after seeing that monotonous face in Twilight 😆

I'm yet to see On the Road, its on my list.

But Kristen is good. She could have been like Jennifer Lawrence – commercial and critical success. I don't know why she let Twilight ruin her.

I think the problem is not Kristen, but Bella Swann really. Bella really has no personality or interest. The only identity she has is that she loves Edward Cullen. That's a very pathetic characterization for any character. Compare that to other popular fantasy fiction characters like Hermoine Grainger or Katniss Everdeen. They both have strong personalities, interests, and a self identity that is bigger than the men or romantic interests of their lives. Even the minor females in LOTR like Arwen and Eowyn have more personality. Even in her relationships Bella is pathetic and weak. Everything is about Edward. She molds herself to him. He stalks her, watches her, tells her she is hopeless without him and she laps it up. Even for romance that is weak character building. Even Jennifer from love story or Allie from Notebook despite being women who build around men in their lives had more personality. Twilight is the worst thing that could happen to female characters. I don't see how even a Meryl Streep could have given life or personality to Bella.

I highly recommend watching Speak to all Kristen skeptics.

I have watched Speak and I was really impressed with her acting, her capability to emote and communicate without having much of actual dialogue. I don't blame her entirely for the crime against humanity that is Twilight but then I watched Snow White and the Huntsman last year and while it had some interesting elements (mostly the visuals and the Evil Queen) I was very unimpressed with Snow White herself. Now I dunno if Kristen has destroyed her acting capabilities playing Bella for almost half a decade or that she is being typecast into Bella-like roles but something is just not right there.

I'll be watching On the Road pretty soon. Let's see how that goes.
