Actress Kareena Kapoor received a roaring response when she gyrated on the item number "Mere photo ko seene se yaar Chipka le saiyan Fevicol se".

Bollywood fans whistled when Kareena flaunted her voluptuous fame and danced on the beat of the song. But the National Commission for Women in India doesn't seem to be thrilled at all.

The Commission has sent a notice to producer-director Arbaaz Khan for offensive lyrics 'Laundiya Patayenge Missed Call Se' from 'Fevicol Se'.

About a week ago, the commission asked Mumbai police commissioner to seek an explanation from producer Khan. NCW officials said almost three weeks had passed but Khan and his lawyer have ignored their notice.

Finally, Khan's lawyer visited the commission's office in New Delhi on Wednesday and sought time to file a reply to the notice.

The action was taken after a complaint was filed about the song and the usage of contentious abusive words.

After the horrific gang-rape of a 23-year-old Delhi student brought India's focus to a very common but unshackled crime, much of the blame for the way some men view women has been laid at Bollywood's door, particularly the way women have been portrayed in Hindi films.

Bollywood faced the anger of common people for the shoddy, double meaning and suggestive lyrics on which the heroines shake their leg.

Kareena's 'Halkat Jawani' from 'Heroine' was also slammed for its lyrics.

it isnt worse than chikni chameli is it ? If they want to target these songs they should target all of them not only fevicol !
