I've gotten really used to it now. Also I don't spend much time outside. Most of the time is in the car or indoors. Although it is a bitch when I have to shovel and temperatures are low.

Sometimes I don't understand the western world's extreme reaction to sweatshops. Now I'm not a fan or supporter of sweatshops. They are a horrible institution where people, mostly children are overworked and underpaid. It is easy to say boycott sweatshops, shut down sweatshops etc. But when we do so, we fail to understand the real economic and social challenges sweatshop workers face. For many people the sweatshop is a dream job. If the sweatshop shuts down these children won't magically go to school, get educated and live a happy fulfilled life. Some will be unemployed and die of starvation. They will be the lucky ones. Others will be sold as bonded labor to work like slaves on plantations, in fisheries and other dangerous jobs that are worse than sweatshops. Even they are the lucky ones. The unluckiest of them all will be sold into the booming child sex and sex tourism industry that prevails in South East Asia. After all, it can turn out to be the parents only hope for good fortune. When you put things in perspective sweatshops are an evil, but a lesser evil than the other evils that lurk out there. Rather than shut down sweatshops we need to accept their existence and figure out how we can work within the system to make them safer, better and give the kids working there better future prospects.
