'Ishq Actually' Appreciated At The Berlin Film Festival

Anish Khanna's directorial debut Ishq Actually, which stars Rajeev Khandelwal, Rayo Bakhirta, Neha Ahuja and Ann Mitchai, was screened at the Berlin Film Festival/European Film market a couple of days back and the film won everyone's hearts, claims producer Sunny Sharma.

With more than 100 attendees from around the world, the European Film Market is one of the most prestigious film markets in the world. Each year the event takes place in tandem with the Berlin International Film Festival.

Sharma said, "The screening was very successful. We got great reviews and appreciation from all who were present for the screening. We had a Housefull and more people lined up outside to watch the film. I don't know the facts or figures but a lot of the people from the Festival told me that they have never seen a Bollywood film getting a full house for a market screening before. There were a lot of international celebrities like German, Turkish, Croatian and UK actors plus a lot of International Directors and Producers who attended the screening. We also had a few dignitaries from the Indian Embassy at the screening."

The film is a love triangle that tells the story of Gia, a woman who must decide between two suitors. Produced by Sunny Sharma, Ishq Actually has been shot in Mumbai and Thailand. The film is an Aris Pioneer Enterprises Company Ltd presentation and a Blue Throat Entertainment Production.
