The best masala films were the ones made till 80s or early 90s. MHN and OSO look like spoofs. IMHO masala is a film like Mohra or Ram Lakhan or in past Amar Akbar Anthony. A film shouldn't just look like a series of gags or trying to pay tribute to bygone era.

I prefer Dhoom 2 to OSO & MHN

Also as a masala film Ghajini took it itself way to serious

I also liked Wanted Dabangg & Singham. I also loved the ones in the 1980s

I think Masala films to look forward to in 2013 are Dhoom 3 CE & Gunday

I have absolutely no idea how Main Hoon Na was only a "hit" in India. It was a very entertaining masala film, and the Indian audience is known to love masala films. So i have no idea how Main Hoon Na was only a Hit rather than a Blockbuster.

Main Hoon Naa was for me atleast , a boring, irritating and bakwaas movie
a copy of 1994 Andaaz (starring anil kapoor, juhi chawla, karishma kapoor)
Andaz was much more entertaining than this annoying MHN imo
