and yes expect filmfare to go beyond it..their cheapness have raised standards since many years. i hope people start boycotting such awards and disagree to become a butt of jokes at the place where they are honored. pathetic

It's forever been cheap since the last decade. There've been so many comments against them, so much public outcry still they haven't tried to clean up their act.

It's viewers also to blame who give high TRPs to such tamasha.

Comedy Circus and other shows also have cheapness and vulgarity only. And audience is sadly lapping them up...

SRK and Saif basically led the awards shows down this path and they haven't looked back since. Now I'm not against some dirty humour or taking potshots or anything but the jokes aren't even funny anymore.

There is a thin line between being funny and being vulgar, these wannabe Ricky Gervais attempts are truly distasteful , its not only the jokes but the way they are delivered that leave a bitter taste. Be it filmfare or any tom dick or harry award show they all sound similar.

Tina fey made a po*n joke about Anne Hathway at the recent Globes, that didn't look bad, because of the way it was handled by her as well as the audience, they mange to maintain the seriousness of the occasion which is lost in this dance and comedy show!

see they make jokes and some of them are sick too...u might not watch that as well..

but here where bhartiya naari is being prayed as a goddess.. making such a disgusting joke publicly shows its down...to the degree of cheapness.

So this is vulgar and shows like Comedy Circus too but a movie like TDP? Naaahh.. that was not vulgar at all! I don't get it, I am against vulgarity on TV and movies but I cant stand it when people do not oppose movies like TDP and po*n stars coming to Bollywood but they do oppose this :|

K.sean boom was vulgur too...and it came way before TDP. don't try to cross lines that doesn't make sense. here the thing is not about just a joke. many Indians are boycotting this 26th republic day. which is happening to tribute the delhi girl who lost her life...and also where the whole bollywood was crying abt getting justice...this is beyond cheap that even in such circumstances they are using cheap and vulgarity to sell their show

@ Nitu_The twisted,

I concur, I feel don't worship anybody just give basic respect to every individual, agreed since Bollywood was so vocal on social media they should have taken a collective decision to tone down these shows as a mark of respect.

For boycotting 26th Jan, don't agree coz there are not many youngsters who are even interested in it!
