Players: It was officially the first flop of the year and you know why! With a big star cast – Bipasha Basu, Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sonam Kapoor, Bobby Deol (phew!) – it couldn't create an impression at the box office. After all who would want to see Sonam Kapoor play an 'ethical hacker'!
Ek Deewana Tha: They fell in love for real on the sets of this film! Yes, Prateik Babbar and British model Amy Jackson (who are not together anymore) couldn't live up to the audience expectations probably because their on-screen chemistry failed to work.
Agent Vinod: Even though Agent Vinod was loaded with action-packed sequences, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor couldn't impress fans with their on-screen chemistry in this one. Even music director Pritam was accused of copying one of the tracks from an Arabian song.
Heroine: Pre-release, Madhur Bhandarkar's film Heroine fell into a controversy for a particular dialogue. Although supposed to be a big release for Kareena Kapoor, the film had sufficient mishmash of Bhandarkar's previous films, the reason why it failed to create any magic!
London Paris New York: LPNY had that young feel to it, but due to a loose script the film fell flat at the box office. Although we think singer turned Pakistani actor Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari made for a fresh cast.
Dangerous Ishq: Karisma Kapoor's big comeback bombed at the box office for obvious reasons. Paired opposite a much younger actor, Rajneesh Duggal, the film dealt with past life regression. That tells everything!
Teri Meri Kahaani: Try giving the audience an overdose of love and romance that too cut over three eras – they'd instead choose to watch a Yash Raj Film! Kunal Kohli's Teri Meri Kahaani starring Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor got a poor response at the box office due to its twisted script.
