Since Sonali isn't on the list then my choices are Karishma Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor if the movie is typical sooraj movie.

I will vote for Karishma I like her pair with salman.

Dipika is such a good actress,look at Cocktail and LAK.She rocked Veronica which was IMO a tough role,she wasnt OTT and wasnt trying hard to be the hot chick.Given the chance she can pull off the role pretty well.
agree on that ! Deepika can certainly act and if she pulls out this one she would show her versality too ⭐️

Hum Saath Saath Hain was also a beautiful film!!!

But with so many big cast the films became bit too star studded.

Sonali and Karishma both stood out from the girls roles. But mainly Sonali because of the naive Preity role she played.

Sapna was quite mischievous and at bits it maybe have reminded us the character of Saif and Lolo of Prem & Nisha!

Also guys: Sooraj Barjatya films are just as big as YC, Kjo's etc... Mainly coz of most his movies being successful, being accepted by all sorts of audiences. broke into overseas box office and succeeded. Finally they all became a household name!!!! Infact, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun was most VCR of 90's according Planet Bollywood

Here Salman won't have his charisma hitting everyone. Over here the chemistry and cute romantic scenes. Family based drama scenes!! Those would need someone who has the ability to pull the audience towards their charm!!! Not many actresses can do it

Yeah but playing the typical bahu and the Indian girl isnt a challenging role IMO,Its a role which the actresses can do it in their comfort zone.

Well I am not saying that its a cakewalk to play such role but it isnt a challenge either,Lets take Amrita do we have any such movie of hers where she had been brilliant in terms of acting?No but yeah it isnt like she cant act she can act well,so thats what I am saying it isnt that of a challenge to play Barjatya's heroine.
