Will Vidyut Jamwal replace Akshay Kumar in Fear Factor?

Takes over from his icon Akshay Kumar to be the face of the thrill based reality TV show.

Looks like the Gen Next action star - Vidyut Jamwal is truly making a strong mark in the minds of all. If rumour mills are too be believed, then Vidyut has apparently been very strongly considered to take on the mantle of being the host and the new face of India's thrill based television show - 'Fear Factor' from his on screen hero - Akshay Kumar.

An insider source reveals, 'The production house and the team have been toying with the idea of a new face for this branded TV reality show. They'd been tracking Vidyut since his debut film FORCE last year and had researched his background to find his strong martial art roots. Vidyut had performed all his stunts himself in FORCE that earned him the daredevil tag. They had followed his journey and with his latest Bollywood action film COMMANDO where he plays the lead, they knew that had great relevance. The stunts in the film have all been performed and co designed by Vidyut which are minus cables and stunt doubles and thus promises some never seen before action sequences. They also realized that in addition to being great looking and having the physique of a Greek God, Vidyut also lends an authenticity to the ethos and thus a strong connect to the show.'

However, the source mentions that the production house may have delayed their on air plans. 'The channel and the production house wanted to start shooting in early 2013 but due to certain internal reasons, have decided to skip having the show on air this year and considering a 2014 roll out of the show. They are also certain that Vidyut's upcoming film COMMANDO, which releases in 2013 and his other forthcoming projects will make a strong impact of him as India's new age action hero taking the association to the next level for 2014.'

When contacted, Vidyut's spokesperson stated, ''The production house handling the property was in talks with Vidyut's management agency. The conversation was in very initial stages and a lot of details are still to be discussed. Let's see how things pan out.''

Ok so someone deserving is replacing Akki good to know,he was so amazing in Force.

agreed Wave...he was better than John in acting dept as well, even though it was his first movie 😃

^exactly...he made the villain's character look sooo GOOD...he even had better body then John (he looked like hulk in this movie 🤢 )
