Sonakshi and Ranveer Singh to romance in 'Ishaqzaa

New Delhi: If rumours in the Yash Raj camp are to be trusted, then a sequel to 'Ishaqzaade' is in the pipeline. The film will be directed once again by Habib Faizal.


According to industry sources, the Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer small-town love story 'Ishaqzaade' is to have a sequel with a fresh script and new lead actors. And guess what, Habib Faizal is keen on casting Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha in 'Ishaqzaade 2'.

"It will be a small town love story about two fearless lovers once again, but with a twist," said a source. If the news of the sequel turns out to be true, 'Ishaqzaade 2' will be the second movie for Sonakshi and Ranveer as a lead pair. The duo is also shooting for Vikram Motwani's 'Lootera'.

Unfortunately it didn't get a release in the UK so I have not seen it yet. I was SO mega excited to watch it. Pareshaan is probably my favourite song of the year too and I loved the trailer and plot.
