Sophie Choudry's latest music album, a remixed version of 1975 song 'Hungama ho gaya', originally sung by Asha Bhosle, was launched at Esco bar in Bandra on Tuesday night. She says composer duo Vishal-Shekhar convinced her to give the remix a shot. "This is a remake of an old song. I was sitting with Vishal-Shekhar and I was complaining about how original songs are not being played much. They said, 'You are so successful with remixes and you should do one more'. I said no, but then they said, 'Everyone is doing it, even in films, so why don't you do it'," the 31-year-old said at the video launch of the number. Sophie says she has tried to make it as new age as possible.
