Even as people are talking about the anticipated sequel to Krrish, director Rakesh Roshan has decided to take a breather first. "If I think too hard, ideas just don't come to me. I need to relax," says Rakesh.
In an interview, Hrithik had even mentioned that Rohit, Krishna, Krrish and Jadoo will all make a comeback in the sequel. But papa Roshan seems to be clueless about it. He says, "I can't talk about the sequel right now. I need to work on the concept first. I don't make films randomly, a lot of goes into my films and I need at least a year before I can start another project."
Krrish has set the cash registers ringing and has already made Rs 69 crore in the first week. "It's a record in the history of Bollywood cinema," Roshan says.
Ask him how he managed to get such a phenomenal amount in seven days and he replies,"I took the risk of releasing more than 980 prints all over India and abroad. I was confident about my product," he says.
However, critics have panned the film on various fronts. Foremost among them is an obvious neglect of heroine Priyanka Chopra in the film. "There is no doubt that Hrithik got maximum attention, because he is the protagonist but that doesn't mean that I have ignored Priyanka in the film. I think she is looking pretty and I don't see any problem with whatever she is wearing," replies Roshan.
