If akshay is playing krishna then the movie should be called: "oh meri krishna" or "oh my krishna", but they used god to irk other religions and muslims and christians also in india but since censor board allowed this movie then it means muslims and christians in india aren't welcomed, disappointed👎🏼

Yes I had a problem because no one has the right to use the word "God" in any such way.

Oh PLEASE _--- if you had a problem -- talk to right authorities and get it RESOLVED --@ but right now you are SOUNDING Like a RAJ THAKREY character --- who makes issues out of nothing -@
My Christian friend is ROFLing here with your views --- @ He says PEOPLE should use little bit common sense -- @ if we start picking issues in every little thing -- then this world will turn into WAR-ZONE @@ I am hindu and I like to call hindu gods as GOD --- so i am perfectly OKAY with this -@@

I don't like when force people religion on others. I find it offensive to atheists. If they choose not to believe, it's their choice. 😕

Excuse me, people are making an effort to help others and here you make fun of them 😕 and stop call it forcing they just using argumentations and if we follow your logic then it's also offensive that in school our teachers force people to pronounce a word the way they want, do a mathematic case exactly the way they want etc.. through their use of argumentation 😕

Hinduism is polytheism and they should hence NOT call the movie "oh my god" because the other 3 religions have different view from hinduism and hence they should have called it: "oh my bagwan" or "oh meri bagwan".

Their intention is to irk other religions because according to this production house one can only talk about gods in hinduism. and let's not forget India is NOT only a hindu country, the country has also a big amount of muslims and there are also christians so it's really offending to make such a title.

No Crystal, that's not true. I have studied religion. Polytheistic religions came into this world way before monotheistic ones did. Hinduism has existed long before Judaism, Christianity and Islam, and they have their share of Gods and belief. This move is about one particular avatar of God in the Hindu religion. One God, hence "Oh My God." God has never been only associated with monotheism. God is a very generic term, and comes from romantic languages from Christianity's time. Just like Yahweh is one of the terms in Hebrew that Jewish people use to address God, and Allah (an Arabic word) that Muslim believers use. God is very generic English (and Latin, I think?) term to address the Holy being that's above us. It's not just given to monotheistic religions.

Bhagwan, also, is one of the many names associated with Hindu Gods, but not all Hindus say "Bhagwan." I know my Tamil friends don't. At the end of the day if you translate Bhagwan to English, what do you get? God. And hence "Oh My God" and "Oh My Bhagwan" is the same thing.

edit: typos, sigh

I am sorry but I find this highly offensive. "Help others" What do you mean? Religion is a choice, and in a democratic world, everyone has the right to belief and religion, which lets you to practice any religion or not practice at all. Being a Muslim myself, would I want anyone to be like "NO YOU SHOULD CONVERT TO __________" or "NO STOP BELIEVING IN RELIGION ENTIRELY!" No, I wouldn't. Then why would I be a hypocrite and tell non-believers to start believing? It is not my business whether they want to believe or not. They are not babies that they have to be helped. They have their own choice. And I am not making fun of anyone.

You cannot compare religion to pronunciation of words. That's silly. This is my perspective and I said it. You don't have to start a religion war on me, and nor do I want to. I believe in free choice, and that's my side of the story. :)

GOD doesn't belong to any religion.

There were Greek Gods long before Christianty or Judaism came into play. God just means a supernatural creature. Thor is a God too.
