No coz she charges 3.5 to 4 on average - reported fees on any site. No way would she charge any less when she is the hero. And why in blue blazes would they be so cheap that a heroines fee is the same as her costume budget?

Madhur has BEEN repeating that line before, that's why I know. He even tweeted so. The exact same language. And he said costumes. This is ideal case of being misquoted.

No.. I didn't say JUST 1.5 crores. Of course she charges around 3.5 crore for every movie I suppose, but here didn't she reduce her fees for a share in profits? So that makes sense.

And moreover, I just checked Madhur himself tweeted this interview so if it was misquoted I'm sure he would have corrected it. He didn't say the costumes COST 1.5 crore. He used the word CHARGED which means he is clearly referring to her remuneration.

I love how this film has evoked so much emotions for the haters and nonfans that they would try to even make the misquoted quotes as facts.. Madhur clearly said that kareena is the costliest heroine and her outfit in the film only cost around 1.5 crores. If others are happy to think that she only got charges 1.5 crore so be it.. If it makes them more comfortable to sleep at night then yes believe this fact..

Qww: I think it's quite commendable that people from small towns make it big in bollywood.. If one can appreciate srk's success story then why can't they do the same for him.. It's commendable that he was once a delivery boy for mithun da and now he stands on the same platform as him in DID..

Definetly he can - going by his words his life story has all the ingredients to make the type of movie he makes.

I was being snarky because IMO he comes across as a pompous pretentious person. He is the same person who was accused of rape - and it wasnt just an allegation that popped up and disappeared. That lady took him to court over that.

You are right tho its great when people break thru the barriers imposed by Nepotism and their background.
