Bollywood is known for its amazing on- screen couples. However, there are those few Bollywood on-screen couples that made the world pause and wonder. Here are a few of the oddest couples we have seen in movies.
.Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee: If there is one thing that was extremely odd about this couple, it was the height difference. What was odder, is the fact that they went on to do more movies together, after their first one, as they received much praise and appreciation for their roles together.

.Rahul Bose and Mallika Sherawat:When this onscreen couple did "Pyaar ke Side Effects", the audience was genuinely confused. The chemistry worked in the movie, but it was still weird to see the dorky Rahul Bose together with Bollywood's siren.

.Madhavanand Bipasha Basu:One is an actress who is a fitness buff. The other is an actor who is not really in good shape or worried about it. Their on- screen chemistry did not really increase the audience's comfort level. Neither did it make their film together, "Jodi Breakers" succeed.

.Amitabh Bachchan and Jia Khan:The movie "Nishabd" caused a lot of furore in the industry because it dealt with a story line that was intensely Lolita-esque in nature. But when an eminent actor like Amitabh Bachchan was cast for the role, especially alongside Jia Khan, a girl 30 years younger to him, the industry shook with disapproval. While the chemistry worked for the story and the movie, Amitabh decided to stay away from such projects in the future.

.Naseeruddin Shah and Vidya Balan:Agreed, the Dirty Picture is all about breaking boundaries, but this one was quite a weird boundary to break. If Vidya Balan, as her usual, elegant self, had been cast against Naseeruddin Shah, the chemistry might not have been this awkward. But pairing a flamboyant, sensual Vidya Balan opposite Naseeruddin Shah, a veteran and dignified actor, was a move that was a little odd and disconcerting.

.Himesh Reshammiya and Hansika Motwani: This is what happens when you pair an actor who does not look too young with an actress who is 15. This pair failed to sizzle on the screen and made the audience quite uncomfortable. Himesh looked too old for the role and certainly too old to be romancing such a young Hansika on-screen. The pair failed to make the chemistry believable and Aap ka Suroor flopped in the Box Office and the critics' books.

.Govindaand Katrina Kaif:When both these actors were cast in the movie "Partner", they were meant to portray a mismatched couple. Well, they played the role of a mismatched couple really well- we would have hated to see the two of them play the role of a well- matched couple. Pairing the slapstick king of Bollywood with the sophisticated beauty will not really make for a good on-screen pairing that is not meant to be tacky!
