Will Priyanka continue to make baffling choices?

While Shahid Kapoor has suffered the most from the debacle of TERI MERI KAHAANI, even Priyanka Chopra has seen a speed breaker in her journey ahead. With BARFI! taking its own sweet time and no other notable project in sight for quite some time to come, Priyanka could well be in an introspection mode.

"TERI MERI KAHAANI was meant to be an author backed affair but it's failure has aborted a good run that she was enjoying after back to back 100 crore grossers like DON 2 and AGNEEPATH. However even she would agree that her contribution to both the films was marginal and it was Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan who led the show. TERI MERI KAHAANI was in true terms her own film but after its failure, Priyanka has to now contend with an immediate release of BARFI!," says a trade source.

However there is trouble in paradise since after going on floors over a year ago, BARFI! is yet to see the light of the day. Moreover with the bosses involved admitting that the Ranbir Kapoor starrer needs some spicing up due to its dry content, one waits for the final outcome.

"In any case Priyanka's choice of scripts that have promised her author backed roles has been baffling to say the least," a critic comments, "7 KHOON MAAF, WHAT'S YOUR RAASHEE? and PYAAR IMPOSSIBLE are clear examples of films that have been backed by the biggest of banners but have failed to excite audience. Now even TERI MERI KAHAANI had big names involved but suffered had an apology of a script. For a National Award winner like Priyanka, it is surprising that she chose to do these films after FASHION and DOSTANA."

I am liking the way Deepika has taken control of her career recently. She is going all out to bag the biggest projects in B town. I think PC should also do the same instead of focussing too much on personal life.

i think she should quit it because it has been too much and should get only substantial roles to do in movies so that they could reinforce her position for long in this industry otherwise she would be disappeared like Rani and other old actress but that i don't want to come about...
