ksh, that's my line... 😆that's so true though... it's a huge joke now... why not think about what makes a good movie...? anyone can promote their movie rigorously... 100 crores is some sort of new standard... if a film grosses 99 crores, it's a terrible movie, but if it crosses 100, then it's a great movie...

if the makers promote their movies properly, any movie has the potential to cross 100 crores, whether it has a good story or not... also, nowadays the number of prints, etc. also effect the overall gross of a movie... unlike the old days, where we had the era of silver and golden jubilees...

I so prefer the old times, it wasn't all about getting into 100 crore club, only thing mattered was the fact that a good film was made.

But to answer your question Gaurav, I'm not sure.

Ok just kidding! True...100Cr is a joke now. Esp films released this year which made it to the 100Cr club. The charm of the film was when you didnt know film chalegi ya nahin. Now everything is so carefully managed that har film chalti nahin daudti hain. I remember SRK tweeting few months ago that earlier people would celebrate 100 days and now people celebrate 100 Crs. Which make me happy that a small film like Kahani completed 100 days!

For a change, I'm not trying to demean the 100-crore club.. all that I'm saying is that it is not for everyone, and it does NOT need to be a standard of quality.

Also, what bugs me is when a movie that doesn't enter this club, is taunted for not making 100 crores.

Seriously? Why would a movie that's difficult to stomach, ever be able to earn even 50 crores...
