It wont harm her if she loses a little weight. She does look overweight and shouldnt make excuses for it. But I hope she loses it naturally rather than going under the knife like Ash.

I'm an Indian girl, and I rarely ever wear traditional attire

does that make me any less Indian than some other girl who does wear Indian clothes?

And its not like Deepika etc etc NEVER wear saris.. they just don't wear saris to every event.

no u got my point in the wrong sense...i was trying to compare vidya with all women since everyone is trashing her...what i meant was tht other skin tight great bodies women seems more inclined to western satires and all,..vidya looks amma but she gives me a perfect reflection of a great bhartiya naari who can kick ass...in kahaani what she could do...priyanka's action in Don 1 and 2 couldn't do that...

yeahh... I agree that her roles are absolutely kickass, and in that sense, she represents a strong Indian woman

but IMO, representing a strong Indian woman does not translate into wearing sarees everywhere

I'm not saying that she's doing anything wrong, but I don't think she's proving any point, if she's meaning to.

I think she wears sarees as they suit her the most. She has already experimented with dresses and got thoroughly dished by everyone. The safest option is sarees and she sticks to them.

Vidya
"I don't understand why do we Indian women obsess about being Size Zero rather than fit. We are called exotic beauties the world over, as curves are our USP. Why do we forget we have an Indian frame? I'mall for the Indian woman's curvaceous body. Besides, the fact is I'm very happy the way I am. And I don't think I'll try letgo off my curves unless a film demands it."
Kareena
"Being fat is not sexy! Anyone who says that is talking crap. Voluptuous is sexy, but fat is out. Any woman who says she doesn't want to be thin is talking nonsense. It's every girl's dream."
The situation does not get funnier than this.
😆
And yes SB, Vidya and Kareena share the same PR manager 😆

but sometimes i wonder...why are people so obsessed with her losing weight..😕

JUST THINK PRACTICALLY...

1. she is in 30's and there is no guarantee of her standing tall for many years...
2. there are so many great actresses who still are in shape and haven't reached 40 still they are being tagged as aunties and buzurg - example urmila, tabu, preity etc

3. Vidya may look fat to some and curvy to some, its not like everyone calls her fat and she is a turn off, she has been subjective.

4. she already said tht she would lose heavily if a great role of a supermodel comes to her. which is justified.

5. looking at her career she is not being a typical bollywood actress needs to going POM POM but it is another thing THAT HER MOVIE DO EXTREMELY WELL AT THE BOX OFFICE.

If losing weight can give her guaranteed success...then she should go for it...warna why to waste time...since she already have got few years to rule...and looking at other talented actresses in great shape who are still siting blank...i don' t think Vidya 's issue a big deal. 😆 i think she is comfortable being overweight...😆
