The cold war between Karan Johar and Priyanka Chopra has been in the rounds for some time now. It is believed that it was over Priyanka's alleged affair with Shahrukh. Rumours were also doing the round that Karan initially excluded Priyanka from his birthday party's guest list. However, all seemed to end well when Priyanka was finally invited and she also accepted the invitation.
In his interview to Rediff , Karan Johar talks about the misunderstandings with Priyanka Chopra and the make-ups, "I have always had a wonderful and warm relation with Priyanka. Actually, I can't keep grudges against anyone for long. When you are fond of people, you tend to deviate from that path. Perhaps both of us did.
Being the older one, I invited her for my birthday party and was touched by her gesture. Without going back to what happened, I would say the relationship is back on track".
In an interview to DNA too, he touched upon this topic. He said, "I have always had a great professional, as well as personal rapport with Priyanka. In fact, that is the precise reason I invited her on my birthday and I appreciate her coming. I'm not denying that there weren't mild issues between us, but as mature adults we've sorted it and are on the same page now". He aldo adds, "As far as PC is concerned, tomorrow if I get a script that is best suited for her talent I will sign her right away".
