Umm..yeah.

I'm also sure if Yash Raj didnt take a panga with the multiplexes and release Tashan ONLY IN SINGLE SCREENS, it would ahve been a superhit, but hey, that's life.

I can do the same for every single film. its easy enough to provide justifications and make yourself feel better about the films' prospects if the release date were better.

Like if Kurbaan had released BEFORE New York, maybe it would have done well, maybe people woudlnt have gotten tired of the terrorism theme. Maybe the poster shouldnt have looked like soft po*n, etc etc.

Aarakshan put me to sleep. It would have put me to sleep had it been Ramadan, christmas, or Eid. 😆

Gaurav, I'm only referencing Rani and Preity here becuaes I'm not gonna say Kareena has surpassed Aishwarya's starpower.

I think back in her day, Aish had quite hte popularity and fan following. If anything, i'd say Kareena has equivalent.

and please let's not compare aish with kareena. Aish's elegance, beauty, dancing skills and acting in a movie like devdas, hum dil de chuke sanam is something that kareena never do

if aish and kareena have something in common then thats the amount of hate they get lol. but aish obviously is recognized more...globally. if we talk acting, then id have to rate kareena higher...even priyanka, vidya would be higher than her. aish does good in period films though. aish has always been popular but not been recognized much for doing GOOD films.

I have to agree with you 100%. Let's see how Kareena does in RAM LEELA. But, Aish was always the Bhansali muse and Guzaarish was also good. And Aish also did well with Subhash Ghai in Taal, Mani Ratnam in Guru, Ashtoush Gowariker in Jodhaa Akbar, J.P. Dutta in Umrao Jaan (despite it bombing), Ritupharno Ghosh in Raincoat and Chokher Bali, RGV in Sarkar Raaj, etc. Aish had such a variety of good work. Even she did well in the battered wife for Provoked!!! 👏

What exactly has Kareena achieved in this so called "long reign"?

Any film that she has more than 4 scenes in, bombs at the Box office.

Sure, she's featured in some big grossers recently but she didn't have anything more to do in them than Asin.

The difference between ASH and Kareena is that ASH will never do a Golmaal 3.

Kareena has not done anything in her career to be compared to Preity,Rani or Ash.
