Then in early 2000's the entrance of Kareena Kapoor, Ameesha Patel, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta, Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan & Katrina Kaif brought change. They must be compared with each other.

Last set of entrance we saw was, Kangana Ranaut, Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Asin, Anushka Sharma, Sonakshi Sinha, Mahie Gill, Jacqueline Fernandaz & Parineeta Chopra. Now they should be compared with each other

Just coz Kareena has ruled Box Office charts for longer that doesn't beat the top girls of yesterday.

Rani had hits like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Ghulam, Badal, Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega, Saathiya, Chalte Chalte, Hum Tum, Veer Zaara, Bunty Aur Babli & Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna

She has done justice to her roles in Laaga Chunri Mein Daag & not to forget, Black.

Preity stormed in hearts by Solider, Dil Chahta Hai, Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega, Kal Ho Na ho, Koi Mil Gaya, Veer Zaara, Salaam Namaste & Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna

While her serious roles were few of the best such as Kya Kehna & Chori Chori Chupke Chupke.

It's best compare actress with the same of her generation

As I said in an earlier post..it's all about the time these actors/actresses peak. Sure, Rani is merely a few yrs older than Kareena..but she reached heights way earlier. Her career graph is totally different than someone like Kareena's. & we all know how that bollywood isn't great when it comes to welcoming back actresses after a few lows...so, no it's basically just not easy for the likes of Preity or Rani to be accepted like they once were because that's just how bollywood works.

& I think we just have a habit here in this bollywood section to compare Kareena with everyone. Why not compare the likes of Priyanka? or Vidya with Rani/Preity/Aish? 😆 It's really not all about Kareena, or Kareena always facing criticism, IF just makes it seem that way.
