I find this surprising. Th initial reports announced Ishaqzaade as a failure.. and DI is nowhere to be seen. surprise surprise!

first may be they declared it flop bcz they were not expecting it to earn this much ...it is earning bcz DI and Departments were Disasters so audience has no option but to watch it

it has recovered its cost ( arnd 19-20 cr not sure ) and direct super hit ...not even Hit 😆 next week it will be blockbuster

while Vicky Door is rocking even in 5th week , earned 37.90 cr while cost was Just 5.5 cr ...and its also a super hit ...as much as Ishqzaade 😆

PS btw DI is not mentioned in the list bcz Department is new so has to be in the list while Vicky Donor is still earning more than DI , so DI is out of the list

Ishaqzaade is a comparatively low budget movie with a limited release. That is why it's considered a big success. Plus they probably sold the satellite and music rights for a hefty sum and so the movie was likely in profit zone almost from the start.

Jannat 2 is a Emraan movie so course it's going to be a hit. Not surprised at all.

i don't have a problem with Ishaqzaade becoming a hit , infact i liked the movie
