Does anybody watch the show called Sound Trippin on History channel?

Its a really innovative show where Sneha Kalwalkar the music director of Gangs of Wasseypur, goes around different cities in India captures mundane sounds and the sounds you get to hear in everyday life,horns of buses and autos,trains,she also made some eunuchs sing and do their signature claps.At the end she mixes all the sound and makes a song.Its a really good show.

Concept seems familiar... Uh... Lonely Planet (Aka Globe Trekkers) folks used to do that.

Gosh! Another Sheha Khanwalkar fan. I am totally smitten by Sneha Khanwalkar. She deserves to be a lot more famous. Unfortunately, I don't get MTV India. I watched a couple of episodes online though. Amidst all the silly reality shows this show is a refreshing change. I love the way she captures everyday sounds of life and turns it into great music videos. What I like best is she does not have a signature sound or style she confines herself to. Her sense of music is organic and alive. It draws inspiration from her surroundings. The tunes just come together naturally. I highly recommend this show.

My favorites are the Goa and Yellapur episodes, probably due to my partiality to Konkani and the south. I particularly like Susegaado as it mentions my village too.

Agree with each and everything you said! Her music has this earthy feeling to it...completely rustic yet completely Indian.She is such a talented Womaniya!..I am yet to watcht the rest of the episodes, I came across the show only yesterday,watched only the Mumbai episode.

I saw it on History Channel yesterday,around 10.30 pm.No idea about the exact timings.I plan to watch the rest on YT.
