The latest trend that has been catching up in Bollywood is that of releasing theatrical promos in a grand manner. At times the cast and crew throw a big bash to celebrate the occasion or release the trailer with the season's big ticket Hindi film. But when one talks about big things, then how can one not think about actor Salman Khan, whose last three films have been breaking all BO records.
Apparently, the theatrical trailer of his film will be shown with Hollywood film, Spiderman 4. "It's the right time to release the eagerly awaited theatrical trailer of the film which will release on EID this year, that is in the third week of August. And going by the response, the first one minute teaser featuring Salman got more than 3 million hits on YouTube. So, Spiderman 4 seems to be the right way to go," claims the source.

The 2m 45s trailer isn't an incoherent mix of the best scenes from the film as is the wont. Instead, director Kabir Khan teases the plot of the film with remarkable finesse, and it goes like this. Tiger (Salman Khan) is a secret agent and a damn good one, but prone to leave behind a trail of death while on a mission. He is assigned an important task with a colleague (Ranveer Shorey) and sternly warned that this time there is to be no violence whatsoever. The mission takes Tiger to Scotland and Zoya (Katrina Kaif), who works as a dance teacher for children. Tiger tells his colleague that for the success of their mission he would have to make Zoya fall in love with him. The colleague alerts him to the possibility that it maybe he who ends up falling in love with her, jeopardizing their mission, which is precisely what happens. Not only does Tiger fall in love with Zoya, he abandons his mission in order to protect her. A blood bath ensues as Tiger battles those trying to harm Zoya, forcing Salman's handlers in New Delhi to order a hit on him, their own agent. And in order to deny culpability, the hit has to leave Tiger beyond recognition! The action sequences in the film are slick to begin with and edge-of-the-seat when Tiger turns into the proverbial knight in shinning armor to protect Zoya. Salman's romantic sequences with Katrina are earthy and provide comic relief, as is typical of a Salman Khan film. We were particularly impressed by Katrina's acting skills and confident dialog delivery. The following exchange that takes place during Tiger and Zoya's dinner date at home is an example of how far Katrina has progressed. Zoya: Tumhari shaadi ho gayee? Tiger: Direct shaadi? Yeh nahi poochhogi ki girlfriend hai yaa nahi? Zoya: Nope, ab tumhari umar shaadi ki ho gayee hai. |
The recently released captivating trailer of Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif starrer Ek Tha Tiger have been creating great buzz all over. The trailer shows Salman, with his drop-dead good looks doing some heavy duty action in his true style. On the other hand, Katrina Kaif adds more to the promo with her stunning looks and charm.
What surprises us more is the reaction and response that the much-awaited film would receive after it's release. It's just been a few hours that director Kabir Khan revealed the new promo on twitter, and now it looks like the Salman Khan fans have almost gone berserk over Sallu-Kat's new flick. The trailer have been receiving great, overwhelming responses from the tweeple.
Interestingly, Sallu's fans have not forgotten their favourite star's sworn enemy Shahrukh Khan. Well, we all know, when it comes to Bollywood competitions, the entire scenario looks incomplete without SRK and Salman's age old rivalry. Hence, now that Salman is believed to make a history in the industry with Ek Tha Tiger, how can one keep aside Shahrukh's topic?

Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif starrer Ek Tha Tiger's new promo is out. Director Kabir Khan, who revealed the trailer on twitter, is super thrilled over it. For all you Salman fans, we must say the new trailer of the film is a treat to watch out as you would just love it.
Kabir Khan took to the twitter and wrote, "Ok here it is... Hold your breath. #EkThaTiger trailer link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmUl0l8qBXw It will be live at 12 noon :-) Not before that..." The new one introducesKatrina Kaif, who looks stunning throughout. What makes us feel great about the new trailer is the onscreen chemistry between Sallu and Kats post their break, that remains the same. Interestingly, the trailer shows Katrina giving a piece of suggestion to Salman to get married soon.
Renowned film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#EkThaTiger trailer. Simply superb bb. Dhamakedaar. Waiting impatiently for 15 August. This one's gonna rule the BO!"
