@rth, i dont think it was the members involved who had the issue to be honest maybe an expection here or there. But those who not participating saying that some answers and questions were explicit or xxx in nature and some not want names linked, which is okay,

its when you cant have any member related questions is silly, and esp harmless ones like dex's or some other members I have seen.

Personally, I don't have a problem with my name being used in an MOTW as a joke, link up or whatever. Make fun of my obsessions like insanely long posts or grammar nazism if you like. If I am genuinely bothered by something, I'll send a polite PM telling you why. I only get upset if people ignore sincere requests.

Can we just make a list of people willing to be a sport for MOTW fun sake and allow member related questions?

RTH, Member related questions, disussions and jokes are fun... No doubt abt it:) But when its used to settle old scores and to get nasty and pass hurtful comments at members, thats where the issue of concern is... That has happened in the past MOTW's and we do have PM's and reports from members complaining about those posts.

The past MOTW's have had these issues and members are not happy with it...

Those threads have come to the GM's notice too bcoz members are not comfortable with the negativity... Members feel the negativity spoils the atmosphere here.

It was clearly explained in the other MOTW, that as long as there is no negativity associated with it and as long as members involved are ok with it, we have no problem with it.
