If Kareena didnt care, she wouldnt ahve cancelled her promotional actitivies the day Shammi passed away adn drive straight down to his residence.

She and Saif were the first there, according to tabloids.

That is RESPECT.

But no, she's not affected enough to have gotten outta her professional commitments in London.

She cried when Senior Pataudi passed away, which was captured on camera. He was family to her and her actions reflected that bond.

if he is a part of the family, it becomes one's responsibility to atleast say a farewell at the funeral, but at the end...who can stop anyone ? no it does not make you a terrible person. But a Irresponsible person indeed.

and as far as i have Shammi kapoor wasn't so bad to the kapoor sisters...iNFACT..he sent his best wishes to LOLO in Jeena ISi Ka Naam HAi show...though i did felt a certain less connection, but his message did state that he was certainly being a well wisher.

I DO rebuke their father's decision of not letting them joining the film industry dat is completely wrong...every person has the choice to do what he wants...glad karishma entered and paved a way for kareena...but i too don't support kareena's actions for not taking part in his funeral.

And why in your eyes was it compulsory for Kareena to attend Shammi's funeral? Please explain. Shammi was Raj Kapoor's brother reason won't be enough. Give a more valid reason. He sacrificed his life for her. He was the one who looked after her when her parents got seperated. He was the one who filled the gap when her grandfather passed away. Something like that. Shammi was Raj's brother is not a reason enough for her to attend his funeral.

please..it was more to do with Saif's birthday that is why he went with her..she being family should have attended the funeral..Salman would have understood! she has the repuation of coming late on sets anyway..so I cannot buy the 'professional commitments' excuse..

she was family..she should have attended it..if she can go to their birthdays..take awards with them..she can also be there with them in tough moments!
