Kahaani Is Rock Steady In Second Weekend

Kahaani was rock steady in it second weekend as it collected 10 crore nett approx. The drop from its first week Fri-Sun period is just 25%. The ten day plus paid previews business of the film is around 34 crore nett and the two week business is certain to be over 40 crore nett.

The film is excellent in West Bengal due to the local flavour but Mumbai city is also superb with second week numbers likely to come in better than big films like Bodyguard, Ra.One, Rockstar and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Single screen circuits like Bihar, CI and Rajasthan are average but very steady.

The Mumbai circuit lifetime distributor share will be a huge 9 crore and in West Bengal it is a roaring hit and can do around 2.25 crore (For comparison Ready was 2.50 crore and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara 2.15 crore).

A FILM tht opened so small is abt to tossle the KHANS again...wow even TDP couldn't do what kahaani is going to do...

Kahaani was 100000000000 times better than those bullshit high budgets movies. The only one I liked was znmd.

wow i m really happy for Vidya and the whole Kahaani team .I hope the movie stays in multiplex till April till the exams get over .so who knows it might be close to 3 idiots record (domestic) too

it is packed house in Kolkata even on weekdays :P and supposed to stay like dt atleast for next 2 weeks..

She really is the fourth Khan now... I am glad this movie worked for her... This was solely her movie. Lot of credit for the success of TDP went to the bold theme and good marketing...

The credit for this movie is entirely hers... Kudos to her. 👍🏼

I watched the movie two weeks back and I am still in Kahaani la la land.🤪
Cheers to Vidya and Kahaani.👍🏼If it beats the biggies I'll be happy,more than Vidya and Kahaani,I'll be happy that such good films with small budget is actually getting its due.👏

It was definitely promoted as a Vidya movie minus any skin show. This movie's success will silence all her critics. PS: The movie actually works due to lot of factors apart from Vidya.
