In a decade-long career, spanning a plethora of roles and ample box office success, Kareena has shown her negative side just once, in Fida opposite Shahid Kapoor who was her boyfriend back then. Now, after eight years, Kareena may be repeating history, this time with Saif Ali Khan in Agent Vinod. A source says, "The promos are quite suggestive of grey shades in Kareena's character. There's a lot more to her in the film than Saif and Sriram Raghavan want the audience to know."
Another industry insider says, "Films like these have characters that have an interesting past. Saif is playing an agent with a certain background and Kareena's character actually leaves everyone guessing till the interval." Understandably, those privileged to have had a dekko at the film are unwilling to spill the beans.
