Wassup on the Salman Khan front? Plenty evidently. He air-hopped to London to catch up with good friend Aishwarya Rai who was shooting there for Aditya Chopra's Mohabbatein. They even flew back together cooing through the 18 hour flight. Reliable sources inform us that he had gone for a hair weave. Ditto brother Sohail, who'll turn hero with Aryaan(also being directed by him). While on Ash, she's even bought a new house close to Salman's...and is seriously thinking of shifting residence.
So Sallu's into hair weaving since long!😉

The other daddy cool to be is babyboo Shah Rukh Khan. After much deliberation, wife Gauri and he have chosen the name Anoushka for their new baby girl. On the professional front, SRK's given the go-ahead to Santosh Sivan's project, 'Ashoka', which will be a 40-day start-to-finish affair. And in all probablities, Kareena Kapoor will be SRK's leading lady. Lucky Santosh, considering that David Dhawan, Rajkumar Santoshi and Ram Gopal Varma are still waiting for SRK to greenlight their ventures.
Beti B is not the only baby who's name was associated with lots of speculation...😆

A tweetie whispered that Sanjay Leela Bhansali was quite sheepish about the fact that he hadn't signed Salman Khan for Devdas. So much so that he was even finding it difficult to pick up the phone and talk to his "once- fave" star. Until Salman got to know of this, and called Sanjay up. He congratulated Bhansali on his new flick, and exhorted him to stick to his choice of Madhuri Dixit (despite whatever the sceptical industry had to say). While on the Khan, must say that Aishwarya and he have become rather open about their relationship. Besides cooing into the phone constantly, they have been making appearances together as well. Recently they came together to offer condolences to Mansoor Khan, after his mother's demise.
So Madhuri owes one to Salman...😛

Close on the heels of Shah Rukh Khan's star whirl in Kuala Lumpur, Akshay Kumar followed suit. With whom in tow? Here it is: Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty, Mahima Chaudhary and Urmila Matondkar. Needless to natter, a good time was had by all. But what's this flip-flop about Akshay and Twinkle calling it quits? Help! our ears are turning crimson. The latest is that he's gone back to Shilpa Shetty and is also yo-yoing between her and Mahima Chaudhary. Which is also one of the reasons why Akki baby didn't turn up for the shooting of Keshu Ramsay's next being shot in Toronto.

By the way Abhishek has also shed quite a few kilos, and looks in good shape, thanks to dad Bachchan who's prevented junk food (read mayo-stacked burgers) from being served at home. Lock kiya jaaye, wot! Also Ma Jaya Bachchan has restricted herself to just one square meal a day...and yes, maybe a cup or two of decaffeinated coffee. How come? Simple, because she wanted to and also since she wanted to look svelte for her part as Mrs B in Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham which commences shooting, come October. The Bachchans re-unite on screen, long after Silsila. Hmmm, those Mili-Abhimaan days are back again.

Whoa! October's been quite a whirligig. In terms of star presence, most of our tinsel towners jet-hopped to cooler climes, which left us sleuths a bit short-winded. No sizzle and all zat. But, but , but. We being the adventurous sort moseyed to the most cavernous corners and eked out juicy morsels of goss. The loser No 1 of the month was unquestionably Akshay Kumar. Why? Because he dumped Shilpa Shetty unceremoniously and then got dumped by Twinkle Khanna. We hope Tina sees good sense and won't take him back. The Khiladi from the very beginning of his relationship with Shilpa had been two timing her. Poor girl, had been keeping silent, refusing films and even tolerated his philandering...all in the name of love. To cut a long story short, goss has it that the two girls Shilpa Shetty and Twinkle Khanna even spoke to each other, compared notes and decided that the con man had taken them for a ride too far. Shilpa has moved on signed two big films with Salman Khan and Sunny Deol each, while Twinkle is talking to some biggie film-maker. Go for gold girls.

If talk veers to Sushmita Sen, can Aishwarya Rai be far behind? She's been inundated with more film offers than'll leave you breathless counting. Ms Rai was quite amused with media reports that she was in tears when the IT guys raided her. Ash laughs, "Why should I be reduced to tears? They were only doing their job. All my accounts and papers were clear. In fact, friends and well-wishers who got raided as well were worried for me and kept calling to find out if I was okay." Well right now, she's busy shuttling between Rohan Sippy's Kuch Na Kaho and Shabnam Kapoor's Radheshyam Sitaram. And beau Salman Khan who was on the adjacent set shooting for Bubby Kent's new flick with Shilpa Shetty...sauntered over and spent quality time with Ash. Ah, love!
Ahhh... why didnt the IT walas catch Sallu in his shorts at Aish's apartment?? - maybe this news bit was an inspiration for Shahid and Priyanka...

Wokay, wokay so everyone's going to town about how Salman Khan created such a ruckus outside Aishwarya Rai's Lokhandwala apartment, yelling the place down, hurtling abuses at her parents. Dunno what's the outcome of all that. But must say that the Rais have been more than rude to Sallu on so many occasions. Like when Ash organised a trial of Mohabbatein. As Sallu entered he went and wished Ash's parents. Upon which Ash's parents turned away icily and ignored the boy. Until Ash intervened and pacified her beau. Hey guys, let's all chill. 'Tis the season to be merry. Time to forgive and forget.
